Stein Reputation was founded by Thomas Stein in autumn 2020. For more than 25 years, Thomas Stein has been advising and supporting large international companies, medium-sized enterprises, start-ups, federal ministries, associations, public institutions and individuals across all sectors (see below). 

Important career stages
- over 13 years (2007-2020) with an international communications consultancy headquartered in London as Managing Partner, Member of the Executive Board and Team Leader Corporate Communications & Business Resilience (crisis communications)
- over ten years (1995-2006) at the then market-leading communications agency Kohtes&Klewes (later KetchumPLEON), most recently as Senior Consultant and Deputy Head of Location
